Hinduism rock but some men made tradition are not an idea of Hinduism !!

There is no debate required, whatever religion you belong or even you are a atheist you will agree the fact that Hinduism is the oldest religion. There is no beginning or ending ....  and even in science if we can't prove the origin of something, we say it has been there since the starting of this world. If I say I know 1% about Hinduism I might be wrong, It so wide no one can claim he know everything about Hinduism. There is no specific book which is treated as the Single Core book of Hinduism, like "Kuran" for Muslims or Bible for "Christians".

What really feel odd to me sometimes people say something and say this is Hindu do or should do. I am not saying they are wrong but as much as I know about Hinduism I don't see what they are saying really belong to Hinduism.

Dressing Code for Girls :
It has been high time when ones in a while some one say something about the dress code of girls and sad part is some time some people relate it to the religion but when I look back and try to remember what I have read and seen I couldn't find any place in Ramayan,  Bhagavad Gita which say any thing about the dress code of any one. In none of our religious books I have seen any where they mention about covering the face of women. This is Hinduism which believe in equality.

This is a tradition,  Not sure why and how it started. It might be started with some good reasons but again it's a tradition ....it's not a religion ...it's nothing to related to Hinduism.

Kundli :

In the starting of 2014 one of my friend marriage was suppose to happen with a girl, Both of them were happy with that. Their parents were very optimistic about it and every thing was going great, than some where "kundli" comes in picture and both of my friend and the girl faced a trauma and bad phase in life. The girl got married now with some one else, and even sooner or later this friend will also get married. When I try to look back the great marriage in Hindu Tradition "Lord Ram and Ma Sita"  if I remember correctly Lord Ram break the Siva Danush and no one checked for the "Kundli"...

Arjun in MahaBharat hit the eye of fish and get married ...no "Kundli" .... Lord Krishna get married with out "Kundli" ..... than why my friend need Kundli ? Last time I had a discussion with my friend he told me Hindu follow "Kundli" .......and I told him how much I know about Hinduism ... Following the Kundli is not in Hinduism but if it's something your family do than it's a tradition but nothing related to Hinduism.
